Cyber Systems Analyst

The Opportunity:

Work with a fast-paced software development team building enterprise systems. Work as a systems analyst in cybersecurity software on requirements gathering, documentation, quality assurance, system or environment administration, and Tier III Operations support. Support end user operations or questions, and feedback on system usage, troubleshoot technical issues as a subject matter expert (SME), and administer environments. Learn and comprehend cyber technical concepts, apply expertise in technology, and work with a team of analysts and developers.
 

You Have:

  • Experience working on software development projects, including Agile, in the systems development life cycle
  • Experience with Help Desk or IT Service Management (ITSM) software such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
  • Experience managing and supporting Microsoft Azure subscriptions, and performing endpoint administrative functions such as resource provisioning and configuration, role-based access control (RBAC), monitoring and cost management, device provisioning and configuration, patch management and updates, endpoint security management, and user access and policy management
  • Experience testing software applications in a cloud environment, including validation, troubleshooting, and performance testing, and authoring functional and technical documents, including user guides, requirements documents, RTVMs, or FAQs
  • Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution processes, and deployment and operational support of software tools in production and non-production environments
  • Knowledge of web technologies, web-based applications, software systems or networks, and security best practices in cloud and DoD environments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, endpoint and software deployment automation, and monitoring or logging tools
  • Ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting across multiple platforms, and develop, modify, and maintain custom scripts, including in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business IT, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with software development process tools, including wikis such as Confluence or Jira
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity policy and scorecard reporting
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher such as Security+, Network+, CEH, or CISSP Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
