EHRM System Deployment Director

Key Role:

Design, implement, and maintain impactful deployment plans by guiding both the team and the effort. Organize and coordinate program objectives, while directing team to navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. Oversee multiple deployment waves, each consisting of multiple sites, identifying challenges and mitigating risks in support of the overall mission. Provide guidance to government executives and technical teams on issues, best practices, and optimal methods and validate project deliverables. Ensure scalability, availability, performance, and engineering best practices for a large scale EHR system. Assess, validate, and optimize infrastructure, end-to-end systems, and architecture. Lead the development of roadmaps and plans for next-generation capabilities, including feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in leading large-scale systems, system integration and interface, and system end-to-end performance assessment and optimization, and deployment

  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Cerner or EHR initiatives, including planning, implementing, and evaluating large-scale, complex IT implementation in a hospital or health system

  • Experience with scalability analysis and modeling, and root cause problem analysis and determination

  • Experience identifying project risks, and creating, maintaining, and executing against detailed project plans and timelines

  • Ability to lead technical teams

  • Ability to work independently and in large delivery teams, prioritize workload to meet demands, be well organized and proactive, and define courses of action to enable decision making

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT Systems, or Business and 15+ years of experience in Healthcare IT, or 25+ years of experience in Healthcare IT in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with federal consulting

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail and provision quality assurance

  • Possession of excellent communications skills

  • Possession of excellent leadership, analytical, and data management skills

  • PMP certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $185,700.00 to $345,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
