Tactical Data Links System Engineer

You Have: 

  • Experience capturing and analyzing Tactical Data Link (TDL) system operational capabilities requirements and constrains identified by end user, U.S. Combatant Command, Component, or stakeholder organizations

  • Experience in the planning and design of TDL networks at the operational level

  • Experience assessing and analyzing system concepts, functional capabilities, and performance specifications, and validating against operational capabilities requirements

  • Experience developing products and artifacts to support system engineering technical review millstones, such as System Requirement Review (SRR), System Functional Review (SFR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR)

  • Experience decomposing high-level operational requirements into functional definitions, verification objectives, and full system specifications, and identifying enabling and critical technologies, constraints, and risks

  • Knowledge of the fundamentals and components of a TDL network, such as Link-11 or Link-16

  • Ability to build systems architecture documentation, such as OV-1 and SV-1

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with U.S. DoD TDL design agencies

  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales programs

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
