As a Test Engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to configure, operate, automate, test, and troubleshoot MIT/LL Test Terminal (T2) and Protected Tactical Enterprise Service (PTES) Joint Hub and related PATS equipment. Your technical expertise will be vital as you develop test plans and procedures in support of equipment evaluation. You’ll develop your skills in integrating PATS components and equipment and in SATCOM, RF, and Modem waveform theory. Grow your skills by merging your Protected Anti-Jam Tactical SATCOM (PATS) enterprise and automation of testing and data processing using macros, scripts, and software tools to develop professional test reports. You Have:
2+ years of experience in use of test and evaluation equipment, including Spectrum Analyzers, BER Test sets, Signal Generators, Frequency Counters, or Power Meters and Sensors
1+ years of experience in SATCOM Terminal and SATCOM Modem testing and evaluation and Modem operation
1+ years of experience in SATCOM, RF, and Modem waveform theory
Experience in establishing test and evaluation criteria
Knowledge of programming languages, including PYTHON, Bash, Kubernetes, or Java
Ability to use automated test software
Ability to configure and troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN networks
Ability to train PATS team members on T2 and PTES Joint Hub
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience with JSON
Experience with SATCOM Terminal and SATCOM Modem testing and evaluation
Experience in the establishment of test and evaluation criteria
Experience with developing test plans and procedures in support of equipment evaluation
Experience with SATCOM or RF in the WGS constellation
Experience working at a Teleport, STEP, SATCOM, or commercial site
Experience in a test lab or environment
Experience with using Microsoft Excel functions and graphing capabilities
TS/SCI clearance
PATS Enterprise or WGS Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
