Policy, Strategy, and Program Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

Critical decisions are made every single day in national space. What if you could use your analytical and executive communication skills to help them make informed decisions? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As a senior policy, strategy, and program analyst, you use your specialized government and military executive experience and your attention to detail to develop and nurture strategic relationships between your client and senior executives from other IC and DoD agencies. If you have strong executive communications, analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to lead efforts to foster collaboration and cooperation between major IC and DoD agencies and organizations.

As a lead policy, strategy, and program analyst on our team, you’ll manage a team of analysts as they help your client manage and evolve to the rapidly changing space environment. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll advise your client on new policies, strategies and concepts of operations, as your team builds new agreements and relationships between these space organizations. As the authority on space and senior executive communication, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to help your customers meet their toughest analytic challenges. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior level role with DoD and IC agencies
  • Experience with executive level communication and coordination
  • Knowledge of DoD programs and capabilities
  • Ability to work independently with little or no direction
  • Ability to create and deliver briefings
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior level role with DoD and IC agencies
  • Experience in an executive level position in DoD, military, or IC
  • Experience with the military, including as O-5 or above
  • Experience with NASA and Space programs
  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
