ServiceNow Application Architect

The Opportunity:

As a low-code/no-code solution engineer, you know how to harness the latest technologies by developing low-code platforms and creating user-friendly solutions for your clients. We’re looking for an experienced solution engineer like you to support the management of low-code development platforms from vision to production-ready, solving our clients’ most complex challenges.  

As a Certified Master Architect at Booz Allen, you'll lead the design and configuration of a client’s ServiceNow implementation architecture.  Your'll work with a service management team on developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and solutions to implement system stakeholder requirements. Advise the team in performing hands-on design, development, and modification to extend capabilities offered by the ServiceNow platform. You’ll be a trusted advisor to DoD customers to understand their mission, current architecture and priorities, and security requirements.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across all platform applications, including ITSM, ITOM, Asset Mgt, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and HR

  • 5+ years of experience with architecting, designing, and implementing ServiceNow systems, solutions, and tools across the Platform for DoD or Federal organizations

  • Experience with Glidescripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, out of the box config, custom apps, and development methods

  • Experience with requirements management and Agile development practices

  • Experience in working with Government clients in the development of ServiceNow implementation strategies and roadmaps for optimal implementation leveraging best practices

  • Experience with leading development teams providing guidance and mentorship for staff members while sharing experiences

  • Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams effectively to incorporate ServiceNow solutions and while articulating high-quality implementation plans

  • Ability to work with senior leaders and executives to foster positive client relationships

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Web development, including technologies, including X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, or Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java

  • Experience with implementing scripted web services in ServiceNow, jQuery or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow

  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web service protocols

  • Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP

  • ServiceNow developer Certification, including ITSM, ITOM, Asset Mgt, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, or HR

  • ServiceNow Certification, including Certified ServiceNow Master Architect, Certified Application Developer, or Certified System Administrator

  • DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+ or CSSP

  • ITILv3 Foundations Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
