Acquisition and Grants Manager Contract Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Support a government program office in the acquisition of advanced research technologies. Apply comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation process to support clients in the execution of the acquisition process, policy, and procedure. Maintain responsibility for providing expertise in financial assistance agreement development, contract rules and regulations, and federal procurement systems. Work directly with contracting officers to complete a client's backlog of no-cost extensions, administrative modifications, and administrative work associated with financial assistance agreements. Perform contract management functions to support contracting officers and develop procurement documentation for award recommendations, reviews, and updates to the requirements. Conduct strategic acquisition planning and analyze functional acquisition support documentation, including Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, cost base analysis, and instructions. Act as the liaison between business units and draft requisite briefings and documentation.

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 2+ years of experience with acquisition management and grants management

  • Experience with cost analyses to determine reasonableness, allowability, and allocability 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to apply critical thinking to problem-solving and decision-making 

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience preparing market research reports and Independent Government Cost Estimates

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
