Security Cooperation Analyst

As a Security Cooperation Analyst, you’ll bring your consulting, analytical, strategic, tactical, and technical skills to work on projects for the Department of Defense (DoD). You’ll plan, support, research, develop, and assess to support DoD efforts. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes. You’ll impact the work we do for the DoD and the solutions we deliver for military and defense mission planning and strategy.

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience with stakeholder engagement and communication across DoD organizations, including DoD executive or senior leadership

  • 3+ years of experience with U.S. government security cooperation programs, foreign policy, or national security affairs

  • Experience with developing work plans, managing timelines, coordinating tasks, developing communication strategies, and managing high-quality deliverables

  • Ability to be highly organized, have strong attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience in analyzing complex issues, evaluating potential solutions, and recommending improvements and solutions

  • Knowledge of Security cooperation authorities, objectives, primary stakeholders, and processes

  • Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to support government decision-making. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is desirable.

  • Possession of strong communication to convey information in a clear, concise, and effective manner both verbally and in writing

  • Master’s degree in Foreign Affairs or Policy

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
