UC Support Engineer

Key Role:

Join an innovative and exciting team providing Unified communications (UC) and Audiovisual (AV) support for Booz Allen staff and the associated systems. Provide technical consulting, client, and system maintenance support for Booz Allen facilities globally. Apply expertise in the UC/AV field, including Webcasting, videoconferencing (VTC), and collaboration support. Provide onsite or remote support for live events, broadcasts and or recordings using both physical and virtual technology. Work with other Booz Allen staff organizations to provide technical support for internal meetings, collaboration spaces, conferences, and other client workspaces. Maintain advanced expertise in networking and IT and interact regularly with and provide support for government clients and other high-level executives. This position requires the ability to work rotating hours, including evenings and provide occasional weekend support.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with UC and AV technologies

  • 5+ years of experience with performing hands-on technical production for executive level events

  • 5+ years of experience with live event support both on site and using virtual event platforms

  • 5+ years of experience with customer service, including government and high-level executive audiences

  • 5+ years of experience with VTC endpoints, including Cisco or Microsoft

  • 5+ years of experience with virtual and streaming based event support

  • 3+ year of experience with advanced IP and networks as it relates to UC and AV technologies

  • Ability to resolve real time event issues proactively

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Live production

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

  • CTS Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
