Key Role:

Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Employ knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with C++ software engineering or computer science, particularly in the modeling and simulation of weapons, communications, or sensor systems
  • Experience with RF antennas and track filters
  • Knowledge of RF and radar systems
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics, or Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics

Additional Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics
  • Experience with modeling and simulation
  • Experience acting as domain expert in an integrated product team, developing computer-based models and simulations
  • Experience in multidisciplinary teams, developing computer-based models and simulations
  • Knowledge of foreign ground C4 systems such as artillery, electronic warfare, or air defense systems
  • Knowledge of foreign ground combat systems
  • Knowledge of foreign ground combat communication systems and networks
  • Knowledge of simulation frameworks such as ODESSA, ITASE, or AFSIM
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including in-person and virtually through telephone, video conferences, and developing documentation
  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
