Job Description
Key Role:
Provide command level assessment feedback on special operations campaigning through the development, management, and continued refinement of the assessment process. Ensure proper plans, orders, execution, and the assessment cycle is completed. Serve as a lead assessments planner to provide operational assessments analysis of tactical level unit OAIs’ impact on campaign objectives and effects based on unit feedback and the contractor’s own Special Operations experience. Produce GO/FO level analytical assessment and operational planning products and enable collaboration of data to provide leadership with information to make informed decisions. Integrate into Special Operations staff and perform at a high level with minimum guidance and oversight. Coordinate as a team player across staff directorates to ensure communication and synchronization of assessment efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience as a former special operations leader with joint staff
- Experience working within Commands or SOF Service Component Headquarters
- Experience with operational level OAIs, special operations plans and orders, joint doctrine, and staff functions
- Experience creating, capturing, organizing, and assessing data for enterprise use
- Experience designing and maintaining a system accessible to all decision makers and stakeholders within the organization
- Knowledge of SOF operations, activities, terminology, and force constructs
- Ability to manage processes and activities to support organizational communications, including correspondence preparation and distribution, suspense tracking, workflow management, electronic mail management, and content management
- Ability to brief executive-level leadership
- TS/SCI clearance
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with strategic planning, and developing and synchronizing complex plans and tasks
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and Office365 platforms
- Ability to provide quality control and corrected feedback for submitted documents before publication
- Ability to produce high-quality work, including independently and with a team, in a fast-paced environment
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
