The Opportunity:
As a transition program specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a program management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll implement and monitor transition activity in support of a large IT enterprise. You’ll work with key stakeholders to coordinate and expedite processes, reporting, and sequencing activities, and process critical path timelines. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project and regular interactions with the project lead and other task owners.

You Have:
5+ years of experience in Information Technology for a mid- to large-scale enterprise program
3+ years of experience leading, planning, organizing, managing, and accomplishing program support activities
Experience with MS Office 365 Suite
Experience managing processes and project schedules
Experience presenting and preparing presentations to highlight project updates, upcoming tasks, and schedules
Ability to facilitate planning and status sessions
Ability to outline steps required to develop programs using structured analysis and design
Ability to plan, develop, and document processes to facilitate transition
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, Communications, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
Nice If You Have:
Experience working in IT program and cybersecurity program offices
Experience in a transition support project
Experience with the Department of Energy
Knowledge of IT Operations and cybersecurity concepts, operations, and lifecycles
Ability to work with people of varying levels and technical knowledge
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
