The Opportunity:
As a configuration management / data management (CM/DM) specialist, you know the complexities of supporting the full lifecycle of projects in the DoD acquisition system to meet requirements and program objectives from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced CM/DM specialist who can work independently with minimal direction and can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll support program-level CM/DM activities and associated policies and procedures encompassing CM of software, hardware, and documentation. You’ll provide analytical support for the development of CM /DM policies, procedures, and practices for planning, documenting, managing, and controlling change to the technical baseline.

You Have:
5+ years of experience in aircraft system CM/DM, including planning, project configuration identification, change control, change/configuration control boards, change request management, and status accounting/reporting.
Experience developing or documenting CM/DM procedures and ensuring compliance with DoD CM policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions and standards
Knowledge of hardware CM, software development lifecycle and project management methodologies
Ability to identify and present CM/DM process issues and solutions to team members at all levels
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Science field
Nice If You Have:
Experience in a DoD ACAT II or larger acquisition program office
Experience with aircraft and system avionics, subsystems development, testing, production, and operational use
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
