The Opportunity:
Security threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to our clients. In today's world how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is a Program Protection Specialist like you who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.
As a Program Protection Specialist on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with operational and security SMEs to discover their risks, understand policies, and draft program protection plan artifacts. You’ll review technical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, whitepapers, and written deliverables.
You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure the security of their programs This is your opportunity to act as a program security subject matter expert while broadening your skills in information technology and telecommunications.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience working in the DoD or intelligence community, specifically in SCI or SAP environments
- Experience creating security plans for an integrated security environment that will protect SAP or SCI information throughout the lifecycle of the program
- Experience with the development of critical program protection plans, writing and reviewing Security Classification Guides (SCGs), OPSEC plans, or senior leader briefings
- Experience with organizational OPSEC programs
- Experience conducting indoctinational training and briefings
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Security Certification within 6 months of start date
Nice If You Have:
- Ability to independently lead multiple security efforts simultaneously
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Security Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
