Job Description
Key Role:
Apply consulting skills with privacy knowledge to support clients in managing privacy risks while preparing for future needs. Review and support the development of privacy compliance documentation, including Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTAs), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and System of Records Notices (SORNs). Develop and update plans and strategy in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and standards in support of organizational privacy and cyber activities. Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures. Work across departments and business units to implement organization’s privacy principles and programs, align privacy objectives with security objectives. Review and draft privacy disclosure statements based on current laws. Assess compliance and maturity of Federal privacy programs against OMB and NIST privacy and security requirements and standards.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with supporting federal privacy programs
Experience with drafting PTAs, PIAs, and SORNs
Public Trust
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with monitoring advancements in information privacy laws to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance
Experience with assessing maturity and compliance of privacy programs using different frameworks and standards
Experience with implementing privacy requirements from the OMB and NIST
Experience with various Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools for monitoring and tracking privacy controls
Ability to develop plans and strategy in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and standards, in support of organizational cyber activities
Ability to tailor technical and planning information to a customer’s level of understanding
Ability to work across departments and business units to implement organization’s privacy principles and programs and align privacy objectives with security objectives
CIPP/US, CIPP/G, CIPT, CIPM or CDPSE Certification
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
