The Opportunity:
The IT Support Specialist is essential for our client, focusing on the implementation, maintenance, and management of IT and telecommunications infrastructure. This role involves providing technical assistance, developing and managing databases, and ensuring smooth daily operations and strategic initiatives.
You will prepare implementation plans, cost estimates, support budgets, and spending plans, while coordinating with stakeholders to align requirements. You will also offer technical support for software installations, hardware configurations, and communication networking, and conducts research and analysis to improve IT infrastructure. Effective communication and operational support are crucial for the success of the program.

You Have:
3+ years of experience in IT support, database management, or telecommunications infrastructure
3+ years of experience with database development and management
Experience with software installations, hardware configurations, and network management
Knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure planning and implementation
Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Telecommunications
Nice If You Have:
3+ years of experience serving in the INDOPACOM AOR
2+ years of experience with DPRI
Experience with Department of Defense IT systems and processes
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Telecommunications
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
