Apply advanced skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a public safety telecommunicator for 911
Experience with public safety telecommunications and information systems, including Enhanced 911 (E911), Next Generation 911 (NG911), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), and Land Mobile Radio (LMR)
Experience working at DoD program management level
Experience using available DoD collaboration tools
Knowledge of U.S. laws, regulations, executive orders department and service level policies, and public safety telecommunications and information systems industry standards, including the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
Knowledge of DoD documentation development, including letters of instruction and formal messages
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience supporting USMC headquarters
Experience with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) in coordination with the Capabilities Based Assessment process between USMC organizations
Experience in interagency planning to participate in interagency working groups and interagency planning conferences each quarter
Knowledge of the DoD Program Objective Memorandum (POM) budget and funding process
Knowledge of the funding process associated with project lifecycle cost management principles, including inventory management and life cycle replacement of equipment
Ability to run required reports, analyze, collate, combine, or extract data to identify patterns, recognize shortfalls, or develop recommended courses of action
Ability to track metrics and conduct trend analysis for action at the installation, regional, and enterprise levels
Master’s degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
