Ground Operations Floor Transition Lead

On our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to ensuring capabilities are delivered to meet client's threats. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience performing systems engineering, acquisition, or operations in DoD space systems

  • Experience transitioning space systems from acquisitions to operations within USSF

  • Experience coordinating with stakeholders and managing stakeholder requirements on complex projects

  • Experience leading efforts for a team of contractors, government agencies, acquisitions, and operations to deliver warfighter capability

  • Experience with USSF operational stakeholders

  • Experience with operational units' needs, including operations, training, and sustainment facilities, environments, and mission accomplishment 

  • Ability to integrate complex programmatic and customer needs to support fielding and operational acceptance of new space systems

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

 Nice If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with military SATCOM systems

  • Experience coordinating the training of operations and maintenance personnel and assessing the operational suitability and readiness of a new space control system

  • Experience operating military satellites and ground control systems in support of USSF and USSPACECOM missions

  • Experience with performing activities to support building and modifying new satellite operations facilities

  • Experience with commercial space operations facilities

  • Master's degree 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
