Job Description
Key Role:
Supports the planning and execution of DPRI initiatives by delivering spatial analysis, data visualizations, and mapping products that guide decision-making on construction, land use, and host-nation constraints. Leverages advanced GIS tools, spatial databases, and Digital Twin platforms, to create interactive maps, analyze terrain and zoning, and integrate data across U.S. and Host Nation systems to maintain a dynamic Common Operating Picture (COP). Manages spatial databases, ensures metadata compliance, and helps resolve discrepancies between datasets, providing actionable insights for engineers, planners, and policymakers. Applies expertise in data literacy to contribute to geospatial data governance and supports the integration of spatial tools into larger enterprise ecosystems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with platforms such as QGIS, or ESRI tools, such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or ArcGIS Enterprise
- Experience with data and geospatial data cleaning, integration, and metadata management
- Experience with spatial data standards and legal and regulatory geographies, such as FGIS and zoning boundaries
- Ability to create clear, meaningful visualizations, including static and dynamic, to support decision-making
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Geospatial Science and 3+ years of experience in geospatial analysis or GIS support in defense, infrastructure, or government programs, or 5+ years of experience in geospatial analysis or GIS support in defense, infrastructure, or government programs in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with defense-specific spatial datasets such as MIL-STD geospatial layers or JOG maps
- Experience with host-nation datasets, local land use policies, and bilateral coordination processes under DPRI
- Experience in geospatial scripting languages, such as Python, and with ArcPy, R, or SQL for spatial databases
- Experience building or contributing to enterprise-level GIS portals or web-based mapping applications
- Knowledge of 3D modeling, BIM integration, or Digital Twin visualization using platforms such as InfraWorks or Revit
- Master’s degree in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Remote Sensing, Data Science, or a related field
- GISP, ESRI Technical, or GEOINT Analyst certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
