As a defense mission expert in the air domain, you’ll bring your leadership, high combatant command, and air domain expertise to work alongside thought leaders in research, development, technology engineering, and analytics on projects for the client’s mission. You’ll use your skills and expertise to research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support, joint experiments and live technology demonstrations.
Work with us to administer engineering and program activities for prototyping, analyzing, and implementing emerging technologies. Assist with program management and planning needed to facilitate Joint experiments, to include executing and analyzing simulation, modeling, or live technology demonstrations. You will provide technical support, including modeling, simulation, and analysis of emerging technology used in the operations and training of various users while researching to identify capability gaps for future projects. You will coordinate with clients on the technical investigation, demonstration, and assessment of specialized solutions developed to enable the integration of advanced radars, electro-optical and infra-red systems, lasers, microwave, or other non-traditional surveillance systems. You will be asked to manage operational issues in coordination with technical support to use Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) technologies to support homeland defense. You will lead planning meetings and provide operational expertise to support the technical development of test plans, procedures, scheduling, and capture of requirements and tactics. Finally, you will provide your expertise to draft official documents to support technology demonstrations and development and draft project proposals as necessary to meet capability development.

You Have:
- 10+ years of experience working in the homeland defense field, including an Air Operations Center as a Command-and-Control specialist
- Knowledge of homeland defense, NORAD and USNORTHCOM, and Air Force missions
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in an Air Force Air Battle Management role
- Ability to work in a team environment across separate geographical locations
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
