Job Description
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your technical leadership and architecture expertise to shape the future of national security SATCOM? You understand complex mission environments, evolving requirements, and how software must integrate across ground, space, and cyber domains. Your ability to translate user needs into technical architectures, interface definitions, and DevSecOps-aligned solutions makes you an essential part of delivering resilient SATCOM capabilities.
As a Software Architect on our Strategic SATCOM team, you’ll help the U.S. Space Force build and modernize mission-critical systems that enable global communications and decision superiority. You’ll design software architectures using model-based engineering, define open-system interfaces, drive modernization strategies, and guide development teams toward secure, scalable solutions. You’ll lead architecture reviews, evaluate technology options, create digital engineering artifacts, and deliver recommendations to government decision makers.
You’ll collaborate with software developers, cyber engineers, SATCOM operators, systems engineers, and acquisition leads to ensure the architecture remains aligned with mission needs and integrates effectively with the broader SATCOM enterprise. You’ll also apply Zero Trust principles, support RMF activities, and help ensure cyber resilience throughout the architecture.
At Booz Allen, you’ll grow your expertise through hands-on mission support, access to emerging technologies, continuous learning opportunities, and the ability to pursue in-demand certifications. Your career is only limited by your appetite for impact.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
