Force Posture Manager

As a Force Posture Manager, you’ll bring your defense security expertise to work on projects for the space mission. You’ll prepare, execute, analyze, and report viable solutions to facilitate shaping the strategic and operational deployment of the nation's space capabilities in support of USINDOPACOM campaign plans. You will be responsible for orchestrating where and how the Space Force positions its Guardians, space and cyber assets and systems, and support systems across the globe and on-orbit. Your work will directly support U.S. national security objectives by balancing readiness, force generation, and modernization to build a more agile, responsive, and lethal force. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes.

You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience using Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES) for force packaging

  • 3+ years of experience using Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) for accurate readiness reporting

  • 3+ years of experience managing and implementing the Space Force Generation Model (SFGEN), ensuring combat-ready Combat Squadrons and other units of action are prepared and presented to Combatant Commanders

  • 3+ years of experience formalizing and articulating force posture decisions in key documents such as contributing to the annual Department of the Air Force Posture Statement (DAFPS)

  • Knowledge of Space Forces strategic posture, including satellite constellations, ground control stations, sensor sites, and cyber defense teams

  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across Headquarters Space Force (HQSF), Space Operations Command (SpOC) or Combat Forces Command (CFC), Space Systems Command (SSC), and Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM)

  • Ability to translate strategic guidance into actionable force packages and Unit Type Codes (UTCs) within DCAPES

  • Ability to model posture scenarios to assess the resilience and effectiveness of space assets against adversary threats and integrate posture plans within functional areas such as Orbital Warfare, Space Domain Awareness, Electronic Warfare, Navigation Warfare, Intelligence, Cyber Operations, or Satellite Communications

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience using DRRS and DCAPES

  • Experience working in the Indo-Pacific region

  • Knowledge of the space domain

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
