Job Description
The Opportunity:
Design, integrate, and modernize wireless communication systems, including point-to-point, mesh, and mobile networks. Conduct system performance validation through simulations, field testing, and analysis of link budgets, microwave paths, and mobile coverage. Deploy and troubleshoot wireless systems in the field to resolve connectivity issues and ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, develop solutions, create cost estimates, and support procurement and implementation. Prepare technical reports and recommendations to enhance system efficiency and address challenges.
You Have:
2+ years of experience in RF or wireless communications engineering
Experience with technical evaluations such as microwave link analysis and mobile coverage analysis
Ability to compile technical reports and convey complex concepts to stakeholders
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience with GIS tools for mobile coverage mapping and data analysis
Experience with field testing and wireless system troubleshooting
Experience creating link budgets, conducting interference analysis, and performing simulations to optimize system performance
Experience working in a customer-facing role and developing practical solutions to meet client requirements
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Possession of excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
