Job Description
The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a Kubernetes Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining distributed and managed platform services, including automating the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of system components. You will tune systems for performance, reliability, and efficiency, plan and manage software releases and feature deployments, and support users through platform consolidation and optimization efforts. The role includes occasional administration of server hardware and software, enforcement of security best practices and procedures, and troubleshooting and resolution of system issues. You are expected to stay current with operating systems, software analysis techniques, and emerging technologies, and to proactively research and recommend future technical directions or projects to leadership. This position also provides technical expertise and guidance in the development or modification of software programs and applications to improve overall platform and operating system performance.
You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in hybrid cloud and edge-based platforms to develop, test, and deploy secure containerized solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips to support national security mission sets.
Grow your skills at the leading edge of innovation.
Join us. The world can't wait.
