Job Description
- Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
The Opportunity:
A well-designed infrastructure platform is critical to enable reliable, secure, and scalable operations across Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) environments. As mission needs evolve, organizations must ensure their compute, storage, and virtualization environments can adapt while maintaining performance, security, and compliance. Supporting this infrastructure requires a combination of hands-on technical skill, operational awareness, and an understanding of how systems integrate across the enterprise.
That’s why we need a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer like you to support the implementation, operation, and optimization of the compute and storage platforms that the DoD and IC depend on to accomplish their missions. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer on our team, you’ll leverage your experience in virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV, along with enterprise storage and server technologies, to support mission-critical environments. You’ll assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining virtualized infrastructure and support storage systems and help ensure high availability and performance across enterprise platforms. You’ll troubleshoot infrastructure issues, support system upgrades, and contribute to maintaining reliable and secure operations across multiple environments.
You’ll apply your knowledge of virtualization concepts, storage protocols, and data center operations to support infrastructure performance, availability, and scalability. Working alongside senior engineers and architects, you’ll contribute to system improvements, assist with lifecycle management, and help implement secure configurations aligned with STIGs and RMF requirements. Your ability to work across compute, storage, and network layers will be key to resolving issues and maintaining operational continuity.
Leveraging your experience with enterprise technologies such as VMware vCenter, vSAN, NetApp storage, and server hardware platforms, you’ll support ongoing modernization efforts and infrastructure enhancements. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives, helping increase efficiency and consistency across the environment.
Advance your career with us as we support and modernize the DoD and Intelligence Community’s critical infrastructure platforms—enabling secure, reliable, and high-performing systems that power mission success.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
