That’s where you come in, a skilled LabVIEW developer with both hardware and software expertise, to help design and deliver innovative solutions for the Department of War.
As a key member of our team, you’ll take on tasks like designing, building, testing, and analyzing advanced electronic equipment and control systems. This role allows you to apply your experience in electrical and LabVIEW development while expanding your expertise in areas like pulsed power engineering, electrical systems, software engineering, and systems integration.

You Have:
6+ years of experience working with LabVIEW and LabVIEW software life cycle elements, including requirements gathering, software design, and test plan documentation
Experience with LabVIEW data acquisition functions in hardware, software, integration, and testing capacities, as well as software development and architecture for platform or system design and integration
Experience with User Datagram Protocol (UDP) communication for subsystem interaction using LabVIEW, as well as TCP/IP or other communications protocols
Experience with device driver development, integration, and testing
Knowledge of LabVIEW architectures, including queued-state machines, engines, master clusters, parallel data analysis, and event-driven states
Knowledge of hardware and software development platforms such as PXI, cRIO, LabVIEW, and Veristand
Knowledge of techniques for utilizing globals, functional globals, locals, references, and property nodes appropriately in LabVIEW
Ability to conduct LabVIEW development in both data-driven and object-oriented environments
Secret clearance

Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, printed circuit board (PCB) design and testing, embedded software and firmware, field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), complex programmable logic devices (CPLDs), high voltage (HV) systems, fiber optics, and programming languages such as C++ or Java
Ability to independently drive focused development activities with minimal supervision
Possession of excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey the status of technical efforts to management in a clear and concise manner
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering
Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) Certification
Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
