At Booz Allen, you can apply your vulnerability analysis, network mapping, exploitation, defensive, and IT logging process experience to execute offensive cyber operations that inform our nation’s most critical security missions.

On our team, you’ll be trusted to probe targets using the latest network-based analysis tools. Using your innate curiosity and technical expertise, you’ll use available information to select attack vectors and match attack vectors to tools, capabilities, and mission intent.

In this role, you’ll mentor a team as it uncovers previously unknown and emerging adversary capabilities that impact the Army client’s enterprise network. You'll lead a team to design, implement, and maintain security architecture based on Zero Trust (ZT) framework as well as develop and implement ZT security models across enterprise environments. You'll also deploy ZT solutions such as identity and access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and endpoint security. You’ll integrate ZT principles into cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructures.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with IT operations or cybersecurity 

  • 7+ years of experience leading technical solution development for large, complex organizations 

  • Experience architecting ZT solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, OMB Mandates, and DoD ZT Reference Architecture 

  • Experience leading product selection initiatives 

  • Knowledge of the ZT technology ecosystem, including ZTNA, SSE, SASE, IDP, IDS, DLP, SWG, EDR, MFA, data tagging, or comply to connection (C2C)

  • Knowledge of network technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, or satellite, and how they play a part in delivering a ZT cyber solution 

  • Ability to author technical documentation, white papers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts

  • Top Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Information Security Certification such as CEH, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ Certification 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in a cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership role

  • Experience working in ARNG, DA, or DoD environments

  • Experience selecting, designing, and implementing security tools and capabilities for large, complex federal or commercial organizations 

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Bachelor's degree

  • DoD 8570 IASAE Level III Certification such as CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CCSP Certification 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
