Job Description
Key Role:
Lead Booz Allen's growth efforts for its Incident Response business, applying business development expertise and knowledge of Incident Response, including the insurance, legal, and vendor ecosystems. Join a world-class business development team focused on building one of the best and fastest-growing incident responses businesses globally. Own and drive the business development process and engage key stakeholders from capability and market teams, including establishing and maintaining partner relationships while identifying, developing, and closing new growth opportunities. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior employees, contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas, work on complex problems across matrixed teams, provide creative solutions, and act as a regional leader on large projects or programs to enable the firm to meet its long-term goals and objectives. Support marketing, intellectual capital development, operations, events, and logistics. This position may require travel.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in business development, sales, and incident response with an emphasis on strategy, building external relationships, and growing revenue
Experience in working with cyber insurance carriers and cyber-focused law firms
Experience with presenting and communicating to teams, executives, and clients, including briefings, sales calls, and team-based discussions
Ability to own and drive the business development process and provide longer-term account management to strategic partner accounts
Ability to thrive in a team-based and fast-paced environment and coordinate with key stakeholders across technical capabilities and market and industry teams
Ability to lead business development initiatives in a fast-paced commercial environment, work with senior leaders to foster positive partner relationships, identify new business opportunities with existing partners, and develop new intellectual capital and thought leadership
Ability to travel, as needed
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with strategy design, project management, and organizational design and change
Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise and briefing senior executives
Knowledge of technical-related incident response engagements, tools, and outcomes
Ability to display existing relationships with insurance carriers, law firms, and other cybersecurity partners
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including comprehension, conflict resolution, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
