The Opportunity:

Do you want to build and deliver a powerhouse system that will create efficiency in federal devices submissions processing? You know a good application is more than just a nice-looking interface and data and you need the right combination of programming expertise to build a user focused solution. As a full-stack developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for a developer with the skills needed to build customized solutions from vision to production-ready system.

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion, tools, and techniques and identify to implement system improvements. Using modern agile practices, you’ll work with a development team to increase efficiency and effectiveness of processing industry submissions, build IT resilience, and ensure browser compatibility. You’ll conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. You’ll participate in architectural design discussions and propose improvements. You’ll collaborate with the testing team to ensure proper unit testing and integration testing of the developed software. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Node.JS or Angular, and Web Services such as REST
  • 1+ years of experience in AWS
  • Experience working with AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, EC2, EventBridge, SQS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch, and developing in AWS
  • Experience providing production support and issue resolution
  • Experience with Agile methodology and usage of the Atlassian Suite of tools, including Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins and Git
  • Ability to conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Ability to collaborate with the testing team to ensure proper unit testing and integration testing of the developed software
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with automated testing, including using Selenium or JavaScript testing frameworks
  • Experience with Python
  • Knowledge of Spingboot and Okta
  • Knowledge with industry trends and advancements in Cloud and JavaScript technologies

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
