Aerospace Systems Engineer

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design space ground systems in support of the space domain awareness (SDA) mission. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize existing ground operations systems. You’ll develop your expertise in astrodynamics and aerospace engineering while gaining experience in the SDA mission. Grow your skills by merging aerospace CONOPS development and space protection to create better system processes and optimized project workflows. You Have: 

• Experience with the development of concepts of operations for space systems

• Knowledge of system engineering principles

• TS/SCI clearance

• Master's degree in Astrodynamics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with astrodynamics programming

• Ability to learn systems engineering modeling tools

• Doctorate degree in Astrodynamics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or Mathematics

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
